How
to Paint Your Own Pottery...
 |
Choose
your ready to paint piece. We have over 800 pieces
to choose from. We carry everything from plates,
bowls, mugs & platters to tissue box covers,
toothbrush holders, soap dispensers, light switch plates,
tiles, banks, boxes, holiday items, gardening pots,
vases; the list is too long to mention it all. |
 |
Decide
on your design— We have idea books, technique
books, stamps, and many computer resources
for pictures plus already painted pottery pictures
that can be printed out and traced right onto your
piece. Use a pencil to plan your design; it will
burn away during the firing. We also have many painted
samples throughout our studio with easy techniques
that will help make anyone’s pottery a masterpiece. |
 |
Select
your underglaze color (paint), brushes and other decorating
tools. We have over 120 colors, over 250 stamps, tapes to mask off your lines and
a variety of sponges to choose from. |
 |
Paint
your piece however you like. When you are finished
leave it with us and we’ll glaze it
and fire it. |
 |
Pick
up your “Piece of Mine” masterpiece
in about 5 to 6 days. It’s now a piece of
yours, to take home and enjoy, or give as a gift! |
